Focus goal: Convey an opinion clearly and logically. Show an awareness of the audience through content, structure, language choices.
Why? In order to convey choice of furniture for the new classroom , students need to be able to express their thought ideas and opinions and Be able to express a point of view.
Earlier in the week we discussed the focus and the importance of learning about persuasive texts. We also discussed how persuasion is used daily.
Today we de-constructed a persuasive text, identifying the main features.
