Explanations and Phenomenon - immerse
There are two types of explanation, one that explains how something works and one that states a reason for a phenomenon
After exploring the differences between the two, we started looking at explaining a Phenomenon?
A Phenomenon is:
- An occurrence that can be observed
- Something that is out of the ordinary and excites people’s interest and curiosity
- Something perceived or experienced
In order to explore Phenomenon we did a number of activities.
We
started with a bang - Popping balloons. Then spinning eggs to see which
ones are hard boiled. Then we looked at the process of making bread and
the magic of Yeast ‘How yeast makes bread rise?’
